The Importance of Story

The story is as important as word of mouth that we devote a few articles. The story is very important for small business marketing. You want – you need – for your customers to convey the essence of your brand for you to succeed.

Previously we have discussed the concept of “some sweet” – little phrases that describe your brand. You can put the tactical things about your company to reinforce what you stand for your customers and prospects. The use of memories whisper about what you do for small business customers is very important for your marketing, whether you try and move on to the next step – the use of stories.

This relationship is similar to the title and story … head is important because it draws attention to us and hitting us in this story is important because it allows us to interact with the paper and scan the ads. The more we engage in the newspaper, the more likely we will continue our subscription.

However, the extent to which you can use the story to actively build your brand depends on the type of small business you are in. The greater the emotional involvement of the product or service you are playing in the lives of your customers, the better your chances for your small company can use the narrative as weapons in the arsenal your marketing.

Let us return to a hypothetical small company mentioned in another article – Terry ATV Store. All Terrain Vehicles terry sells, but it’s really fun business. Even farmers and ranchers who use the product in their daily lives just like the rush they get driving their quads. Terry dozen places in the store for customers to remember his shop selling fun.

But what about the coin-operated laundry across the street from Terry? Does this mean that the ATV business somehow better than small businesses in the coin-op laundry business? Not at all. Both can be profitable if managed properly. But it is important to know upfront that the various types of businesses are suitable for a variety of marketing methods.

Advantages of the story, of course, is that people often talk with their friends about small business, they are emotionally involved than where they provide superior benefits only. Sorry, but that’s the way it is. There are many strong small business has a hard time stretching their services in the story would have.
